Welcome to Art Interpretations!

 

My name is Vivienne, and I live in San Francisco, California. I am a student of art history and I started this blog as a way of learning more about it. I wanted to create an accessible journal where I write about paintings that really struck me when I saw them in museums. I have been very fortunate to visit museums because seeing things online is not the same as visiting museums. I wanted to provide a personal response to art, not just provide facts about it.

Many do not have the opportunity to visit museums and experience art for themselves, which is why I started this blog and Each Of Us Now, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that aims to increase art education.
